Kinetype is a browser fighting game where the only weapon is your keyboard. Type the sentence in front of you and every word in it is a move: small words raise a block, ordinary words punch, and the long words kick. Every hit shoves your opponent closer to the edge, and reads beat speed, because a block timed on an incoming kick turns their best shot back on them.

Three things decide an exchange
How much damage is on you
Damage does not knock you out on its own. It makes the next hit throw you further, so the same kick that nudged you at 10 percent sends you off the stage at 120. Your outline shifts from white through amber into red.
When your block is up
A block lasts about a second. Spend it on an incoming kick and you parry it for a third of the knockback plus a counter that doubles your next hit. Block at the wrong moment and you simply gave up the time.
Skins you earn, not buy
Every match pays coins. Win rounds, type clean and hold a streak to earn more, then spend them on fighters and full arena themes in the shop. Each one is drawn in code at runtime, so there is nothing to download and no file to wait on.

- What is a typing fighting game?
- It is a fighting game where typing is the only input. Each player gets a sentence, and every word in it is a move: a small word raises a block, an ordinary word is a punch, and a long word is a kick. Each move pushes your opponent toward the edge of the stage, and once their damage is high enough a single kick sends them off it. There is no health bar and no blocking button, because the sentence is the button.
- Can I play it free without downloading anything?
- Yes. Kinetype runs in your browser on desktop or laptop. There is no download, no account, and no email required. A physical keyboard is needed, because the whole game is typing.
- Do I have to be a fast typist to win?
- No. Damage is what sets up a knockout, not speed, and the sentence decides which moves you get and when. A slower typist who reads the incoming kick and gets a block under it takes a third of the knockback and answers twice as hard, which is more than speed alone buys.
- How does the parry work?
- Small words in your sentence raise a block for about a second. When your opponent commits to a kick the game warns you with KICK INCOMING; if your block is up when that kick lands, you parry it, take a third of the knockback, and get a counter window where your next hit lands twice as hard. A block that is not needed is a lost exchange, because you spent the time typing it.
- What happens if I get knocked off the stage?
- You are not dead yet. You get one SAVE word with a short timer. Type it and you climb back onto the stage with a moment of invulnerability. Miss it and the round is over.
- Is there multiplayer?
- Not yet. Today you fight bots, and you choose the bot's typing speed from 20 to 120 words per minute. The fight logic is built so a second human opponent can be added later without redesigning it.
